Season 10 - the return of live music!
We are returning this summer, with 5 live concerts planned in a variety of venues. We are excited to be adding some new instruments to the organization, as well as featuring some great new music. Guest artists will include William Fuller on clarinet, Rodney Page as violinist and composer, and tenor Christopher Joyner, among others. As always, we will also feature a couple of our Young Artist Competition winners. Admission is free, with a freewill offering taken during intermission. The dates will be as follows:
Sunday, June 27 at 3:00 p.m. - First Baptist Church in Clinton, WI
Sunday, July 11 at 3:00 p.m. - the Chorus in beautiful downtown Stoughton, WI
This will be our first appearance in this lovely town and we are excited about playing in this fabulous historic venue.
Saturday, July 17 at 7:00 p.m. - First Lutheran Church in Janesville, WI
This will be an outdoor concert (weather permitting) and there will be refreshments available.
Sunday, August 1st at 3:00 pm - First Congregational Church in Beloit, WI
This concert will be held as part of their Musica Maxima series of concerts.
Wednesday, August 25th at 6:30 pm - Central Park in Edgerton, WI
The Edgerton Arts Council has graciously invited us to participate in their music series this year, and we accepted! This will be an outdoor concert, and will feature some small ensembles and guests along with the usual orchestra fare.
All possible considerations and protective measures will be taken at these concerts, to help continue the abatement of the coronavirus. Attendees may be asked to wear masks and observe social distancing. All concerts are free admission, however, freewill offerings will be gratefully accepted during intermissions. All funds raised go directly into our operating budget for the coming year, and we thank you for supporting our continuing efforts to help make the state line area a more beautiful place!
